Students had their immunizations today and all seemed well:)

Parent Teacher conferences will have a new format this year. Grade 9 teachers will be set up in the cafeteria and parents may visit any of the subject teachers that they would like to see.
Homework:
English: Rough draft of Event Description is due tomorrow
French: 1. Due to immunizations today, journals about the trip to Quebec ( or the week at home) are due tomorrow

Social Studies: Today we began our economics unit. We did a group reading activity today that we will be finishing in class tomorrow which introduces how our ever changing culture is changing the Atlantic Region from a natural resource based economy to an information driven economy. Towards the end of this week, we will be looking at personal economy and creating a personal budget. If you have any Superstore or Sobeys flyers at home,these would be useful for a class activity.
