Parent Teacher conferences will have a new format this year. Grade 9 teachers will be set up in the cafeteria and parents may visit any of the subject teachers that they would like to see.
Don't forget that Friday, February 18th there are no classes for students due to Parent teacher interviews.
Also, Monday February 21st is Islander day no classes for students!
Homework:
English: The rough copy of the Event Description is now due Tuesday, February 15th, 2011 Independent Novel Study due Wednesday, February 16th, 2011
French: Entrevue fictive avec un(e) artiste due mardi le 22 février 2011
Math: Same as weekend homework
Social Studies: If you have any Superstore or Sobeys flyers at home,these would be useful for a class activity.
Science and FPS: Check Mme. Walsh's Blog
Band: Bring in an object for the flea market on Thursday and Friday. Also start looking over your band music, because there will be a test in about a couple of weeks. There will be a meeting for the parents on Wednesday at 7:00 pm to discuss the band trip to Halifax!
Art: 2$ art fee due ASAP
